SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
  • The Explorers are coming off the team's first A-10 conference win this past Saturday over the Fordham Rams 64-53. Molly Masciantonio scored a division one career-high 19 points in the win.
  • La Salle sit among six teams in the conference with one conference win thus far in the season, after the win on Saturday over Fordham.
  • In the win, the Blue & Gold played a shorter bench compared to any game this season. Tiara Bolden and Fiona Connolly were the only two that came off the bench while Makayla Miller, Nicole Melious, Molly Masciantonio, Emilee Tahata, and Jolene Armendariz started.
  • The Explorers are ranked in certain categories within the conference worth noting: 4th in 3-PT field goals made (105), 2nd in opponent 3-PT FG percentage (.268), 10th in combined team rebounds (35.9 per game), and 3rd in steals (122).
  •  This is a series that dates back to the 1990s with La Salle leading the all-time meetings 19-17. Recently the Explorers have come out on the winning side seven of the last nine times. Last season the teams met in Philadelphia and La Salle won 65-52.

SCOUTING THE BONNIES:
  • The Bonnies, similarly to La Salle, have found four wins this season, one of which coming in conference. St. Bonaventure topped Loyola Chicago at the end of December 84-72 for the team's first win in the A-10 this season.
  • St. Bonaventure has seen two losing streaks of three games this season, and will be looking to avoid that for a third time this season tomorrow against the Explorers.
  • In Dani Haskell's first year with St. Bonaventure, she is leading the team in scoring averaging 13 points per game. When Haskell gets to the free-throw line, she is one of the best to do it. She is second in the conference in free-throw percentage (.878).
  • Jim Crowley returns to St. Bonaventure for his second stint as head coach of the women's team. Crowly spend 2016-2023 as the head coach of the Providence Friars, but spend 2000-2016 with the Bonnies.
