Men's Soccer to Celebrate Senior Day on Home Finale Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team will honor its seniors this weekend as it hosts the VCU Rams for the team's annual Senior Day. The game this Saturday will be the team's regular season home finale.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and kick off is set for 6:00 p.m. ET. It can also be followed on X @LaSalle_MSOC and on Instagram @lasalle_msoc.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS

La Salle lost 2-1 to Loyola Chicago last Saturday.
Drew Blackwell's through ball to Nevin Baer in the 73^rd minute provided the team's lone goal of the game.
The assist from Blackwell was his team-leading fourth of the season.
Randy Burkhardt tied a career-high in saves in one game with eight, making four saves in each half.
The Explorers had just seven shots in the game, with only one on goal.
As of Oct. 24, La Salle is tied for eighth in the conference, with a conference record of 2-3-1.

SCOUTING THE RAMS:

VCU is coming off a 1-1 draw to Saint Louis last Saturday.
Andrey Salmeron scored a PK goal in the 74^th minute to erase a 1-0 deficit for his team.
John Ermini has made 42 saves this season in goal, including five in the game against Saint Louis.
