Men's Soccer Set to Take on A-10 Rival George Mason at Home

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team returns home to McCarthy Stadium to play nationally ranked #20 George Mason on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed on ESPN+. It can also be followed on X @LaSalle_MSOC and on Instagram @lasalle_msoc.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
  • La Salle recorded a 3-1 away win last Saturday afternoon against the Davidson Wildcats.
  • Andoni Garrogerricaechebarria scored a PK in the 13th minute for his second goal of the season.
  • Colin Beasley recorded a PK goal of his own in the 16th minute and set up the third goal to Giammarco Rodio in the second half to put the game away.
  • Explorers netminder Randy Burkhardt earned his second win of the season, getting three saves in the effort.
  • The team is 1-0-1 in conference play and are in third place as of Oct. 4.
 SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS:
  • George Mason comes off a 5-2 win against conference rival George Washington Navy last Saturday night, and sports a season record of 8-1-0 (2-0-0 conference record).
  • Midfield Quentin Clain recorded eight total shots and scored two goals, and Jacob Eliuda got three assists in the win.
  • Marek Gonda scored two goals as well, along with one assist in the game.
  • Goalkeeper Lucas Beltran has played and started in all the team's games, and has made 20 stops overall this season.
