HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The day consisted of a lot of Ashleigh Connor, and that's exactly how it started for the La Salle offense. The R-Sophomore knocked down the first bucket of the day from deep-range.
- The Explorers would then go onto knock down three more three-point buckets thanks to Connor, Ty'Renisha Bowers, and Anna Przyszlak.
- Going into the second frame the Explorers held a nine-point lead and continued to add on. Przyszlak piled on her points throughout the remainder of the quarter.
- Mackenzie Daleba and Aryss Macktoon also added on for the Explorers throughout the second. The duo combined for eight points prior to halftime.
- The Blue Hens gave the Explorers their best shot in the third quarter, in an attempt at a comeback. What was once a 14-point lead, quickly shrunk to four points.
- At the 4:42 mark in the third, however, freshman Joan Quinn began to right the ship for La Salle. The guard knocked down a massive three to take the momentum back from Delaware.
- By the end of the third, the Explorer lead climbed back up to 11 points.
- Connor started the fourth like she started the game, knocking down big shots from beyond the arch.
- The Explorers continued to pull away from Delaware throughout the course of the fourth.
