PHILADELPHIA – Two members of the La Salle men's and women's cross country teams earned PHILLY-SIDA Academic All-Area honors, the association announced Wednesday. The All-Academic team is selected by the Philadelphia area's cross country communications directors.
 
MacCallum Rowe and Gwenno Goode received the honors, commending their athletic and academic excellence. Rowe won the Atlantic-10 Individual title in the conference championship meet, receiving the title of Most Outstanding Performer of the conference following the race. In the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, he finished fifth overall, qualifying for the NCAA National Championship meet and getting All-Region honors.

Goode also won the A-10 Individual title in the women's race at the conference championships. As a result, she was awarded the Most Outstanding Performer. She placed seventh overall in the Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, getting All-Region honors, and qualified for the NCAA National Championship meet.

Goode and Rowe will next compete for La Salle in 2025 at the Penn Select meet on Jan. 11, as the La Salle teams' indoor track seasons are underway.
