La Jolla, CA - The La Salle women's basketball team suffered a 69-53 loss at UC San Diego to conclude its 2024-25 non-conference slate.

Ayisse Magassa led the Explorers with 11 points, while sophomore
Aryss Macktoon collected a team-high seven rebounds.

- UCSD jumped out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter.
- The Explorers fought back, outscoring the Tritons 15-10 in the second quarter to make it a 27-24 game at the midway mark.
- La Salle finished the first half on an 11-2 run, with freshman Sania Jenkins delivering the final points of the half.
- The Explorers connected on 7-13 (53.85%) of field goal attempts during the second quarter.
- The Tritons pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Explorers 25-12, which proved to be the difference, as both teams were knotted up at 17-17 during the final period of the game.
