PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle water polo team (6-6) fell to the No. 9 Princeton Tigers, 15-7 at Kirk Pool on Thursday night. The Explorers have a quick turnaround, being back in action on Saturday at 12 p.m.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Francesca Co' scored the first goal for La Salle after the Tigers got on the board and set the tone for a back-and-forth first quarter. The two sides traded goals for the remainder of the first. Casey Malone and Grace Smith found the back of the net in addition to Co' to set the tally at 4-3, Princeton to end the first period.
- Hannah Woren tied the contest at four to start the second. Princeton notched the next three goals to establish a 7-4 advantage. Sophia Kolovou added the final goal of the frame to have the Tigers take a 7-5 lead into halftime.
- Princeton outscored La Salle 6-0 in the third.
- The final frame was split, two a piece, with Co' adding both goals for La Salle.

- The Explorers will head up to Cambridge for the Harvard Invitational where they will face off against a pair of West Coast teams in Santa Clara and No. 13 UC Davis in addition to their third battle this season with Mercyhurst.
