CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The La Salle water polo team (6-6) will face off against Santa Clara, Mercyhurst, and No. 13 UC Davis at the Harvard Invitational this weekend. All three matches will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle began the season hot, with its second-best start through nine games in program history. The Explorers have dropped the last three, all at the hands of ranked opponents.
- The Explorers most recently faced off against No. 9 Princeton at home. It was the second home match of the season for the Explorers.
- After a competitive first half, Princeton ran away in the second half via a 6-0 third quarter.
- Francesca Co' leads La Salle in goals (32), assists (12), and points (44).
- Martina Bonet Saez has made an impact as a freshman. The rookie leads the team in steals by a wide margin (22), is second in points (27), and third in goals (19).
SCOUTING SANTA CLARA:
- Santa Clara is 4-5 on the season. The Broncos started the season off 1-3, but have rebounded, going 3-2 in their last five.
- The squad last hosted the Bronco Invitational, where they went 2-2.
- The contest will begin on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 12:00 p.m.
SCOUTING MERCYHURST:
- Mercyhurst is 1-15 overall, with the one victory coming vs Penn State Behrend.
- La Salle has played Mercyhurst twice already this season, winning 18-9 in the first meeting and 13-3 in the second.
- The match will begin on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 8:00 a.m.
SCOUTING #13 UC DAVIS:
- UC Davis is 2-12 overall. Every team the Aggies lost to was ranked.
- The squad most recently hosted the Aggie Invite. They earned a 1-3 record, falling to No. 4 Stanford, No. 17 Pacific, and No. 5 Cal. They took down UC Merced, 24-2.
- The match will begin on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1:20 p.m.
