HAMPTON, Va. – La Salle swimming and diving concluded the 2023-24 season on the final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships with some incredible individual performances throughout the course of the final day of competition.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The final day of competition brought out some of the best performances of these championships and it started in the men's 200-back finals.
- Tarik Gusic swam to a sixth-place finish in the event at 1 :47.90 pace, another solid result for the sophomore at the A-10's.
- Toni Rafferty concluded her 2023-24 campaign finishing strong in the women's 100-free consolation finals, swimming to 10th overall in a time of 50.33 seconds.
- Felix Jedbratt, like he has all championship long, broke another program record in the men's 100-yard freestyle. The sophomore medaled second and finished the event in 42.95 seconds.
- In the women's 200-breast finals, Gabriela Herbreder swam her way to a fifth-place finish in a time of 2:15.06, a great turnout for the sophomore.
- Standout Rookie, Andrea Savoca, finished the men's 200-yard breaststroke in second place, another medal for the Italian. He swam to a 1:57.15 finish.
- Although the result did not reflect the impact, Felicia Rogell broke a La Salle program record in the women's 200-yard butterfly. Rogell swam the event in 2:02.18 to set the new record.
- The final event of the championships was the men's 400-yard freestyle relay. The foursome of Felix Jedbratt, Tarik Gusic, Zack Miller, and Carter Perkins finished in 2:56.52, good enough for third place and a new program record in the event.
- Through event 40, the La Salle men finished the competitions in seventh place with 347 points.
- The women finished in ninth place with 165 total points.
- After his consistent high-level performances throughout the season and the championships, freshman Andrea Savoca was named most-outstanding male rookie performer at this year's Atlantic 10 Championships.
