PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's basketball team (14-15, 5-11 A-10) will play its final game at Tom Gola Arena after over two decades at the venue this Saturday against the George Washington Revolutionaries (14-14, 3-12 A-10). Tickets are being sold as a discounted rate of $3-$6 to celebrate the history of the venue, additionally, all fans in attendance will receive a commemorative final game at Gola ticket. It is senior day,

Anwar Gill, and
Tommy Gardler will be honored prior to the game. The contest will tip at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

NEWS & NOTES
- La Salle had its three-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Duquesne, 75-63 on Wednesday.
- The Explorers led at halftime, but a 12-2 run to kick off the second half put La Salle behind. Despite a few solid attempts, the Explorers could not close the gap.
- Khalil Brantley had an impressive night, scoring 14 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and passing for seven assists. He has now scored in double figures in nine of the last ten games and has grabbed at least five rebounds in the last four contests.
- Daeshon Shepherd's 17 points and 7 rebounds mark the sixth straight game he has scored in double figures and the fourth time in five games he has pulled down at least seven rebounds. He is averaging 16.9 points per game over his last six contests.
- Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi has scored in double figures in three of the last four games. He added 10 points at Duquesne and tied his career-high with three assists.
- Jhamir Brickus passed for six assists to advance to eighth all-time on the career assist chart, surpassing Charlie Wise. He now has 411 assists to his name. Nexto on the list is Rich Tarr with 429.
- The Explorers as a whole have been playing at a high level for the last two weeks. Since 2/17, La Salle is ranked 51st nationally in the Torvik ranking metric, second amongst A-10 programs.
SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
- George Washington is 14-14 and 3-12 in the Atlantic-10. The squad has dropped the last 11 games, tied for the fifth longest active losing streak in Division I.
- The Revolutionaries are coming off a loss vs Massachusetts, 69-57. The Minutemen got out to a 40-21 halftime lead and did not let GW back into the game.
- Guard James Bishop IV is the straw that stirs the drink for George Washington. The fifth year has been named All A-10 twice, including a First-Team selection last season. He was named A-10 Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday after averaging 33.0 points per game last week. He is averaging 18.0 points per game this year.
- Forward Darren Buchanan Jr. returned to the lineup against UMass after missing a pair of games. He averages 15.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
- Chris Caputo leads the Revolutionaries in his second season as a head coach. He comes to D.C. after spending 11 years on the Miami (FL) staff under Jim Larrinaga. Caputo is 30-30 as head coach.
SERIES HISTORY
- La Salle and GW have shared a home in the A-10 since 1995 when Explorers joined the league. George Washington is a founding member of the conference.
- The two have met 46 times on the floor. The Revolutionaries have a slight edge in the all-time series, 21-25.
- The sides split the series last year, one win each. La Salle took the victory when the two met in January this season in the District, 80-70. Khalil Brantley, Jhamir Brickus and Vahlberg Fasasi all had strong outings. Vahlberg Fasasi set a career-high with 19 points.
