STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The La Salle water polo team (12-12) will look to build on a 2-1 weekend with a pair of opportunies againt ranked foes.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle has fought its way back to .500 on the season. The Explorers are 4-1 in their last five games, including an impressive 9-7 win over No. 22 Cal State Northridge. It was La Salle's first ranked win since 2021 and first ranked victory in a full season.
- Francesca Co' leads La Salle in goals (70), assists (22), and points (92).
- Martina Bonet Saez and Sofia Kolovou are tied with 42 goals. Bonet Saez was named MAAC Co-Rookie of the Week on Wednesday, becoming the first Explorers to win the award since Co' in 2022.
- Lily Kirby is in goal for the Explorers. The freshman has 208 saves on the year.
SCOUTING No. 17/17 WAGNER:
- Wagner is 18-3 on the season. They have six straight games, including taking down No. 19 Harvard on Sunday.
- Wagner also competed in the VMI Tournament last weekend where they swept, going 3-0.
- The contest will begin on Saturday, Mar. 23 at 10:00 a.m. It will stream on Wagner's website.
SCOUTING No. 22/20 LIU:
- LIU is 15-4 overall. All four losses were against teams ranked No. 16 or higher.
- The Sharks also played in the VMI Tournament last weekend. Like Wagner, LIU earned a perfect 3-0 record, winning all three games by double-digits.
- The match will begin on Saturday, Mar. 23 at 4:00 p.m.
