Men's Soccer Ends Road Trip with Game Against Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Conn. – The La Salle men's soccer team travels to Connecticut to compete against the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed on Quinnipiac's athletics website. It can also be followed on X @LaSalle_MSOC and on Instagram @lasalle_msoc.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
  • La Salle plays its second game this week, with their first game resulting in a 1-0 loss to Monmouth on Tuesday.
  • Monmouth scores the lone goal of the game in the 21st minute.
  • Colin Beasley, Kyrese Lynch-Bailey, and Giammarco Rodio led the team with two shots each.
  • Theo Maartensson recorded his first shot on goal in this game.
  • Tino Kneis, in his fourth start of the season for the team, made one save in the game.
  • The Explorers had nine shots throughout the game, with two on goal.
 
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS:
  • Quinnipiac enters Saturday with a record of 2-3-0, coming off a 5-1 home win Tuesday against CCSU.
  • In that game, Noe Cabezas scored two goals, and Filip Kangeman scored a goal and recorded an assist.
  • Alex Miller has the most assists on the team with three, and is tied for second-most shots on his team with six.
  • For goalkeeping, Karl Netzell has played every minute of the season for his team so far, and has made 16 saves, including one clean sheet.
