Men's Soccer Returns to Non-Conference Action in Lafayette Matchup

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team concludes its three-game homestand at McCarthy Stadium Tuesday night against the Lafayette Leopards. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

La Salle recorded a 0-0 draw last Saturday night against the Saint Louis Billikens in their first conference game of the season.
Randy Burkhardt, making his first start this season, made four saves to preserve the result.
The team was outshot 16 to seven, and had only three corners compared to the Billikens' 14.
Six different players recorded a shot, and three players each got a shot on goal.
The game was very chippy, with 24 fouls called and 10 total cards given out (including two reds).

SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS:

Lafayette comes off a 2-1 loss to Navy last Saturday afternoon, and sports a season record of 3-3-2.
Roy Biegon scored his team-leading third goal of the season in the 72^nd minute to temporarily tie the game at one.
Beaux Lizewski leads the team in assists with four.
In net, Griffin Huff has played most of the matches, starting six of the eight games played this season. He has made 22 saves.
