Men's Soccer Travel South for First Road Conference Game of Season

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's soccer team travels down south to play its first road conference game of the season when it plays the Davidson Wildcats on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed on ESPN+. It can also be followed on X @LaSalle_MSOC and on Instagram @lasalle_msoc.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
  • La Salle recorded a 3-1 home win last Tuesday night against the Lafayette Leopards.
  • Andoni Garrogerricaechebarria scored in the 38th minute and recorded an assist on the Explorers' second goal.
  • Colin Beasley scored two goals in the second half to put the game away.
  • Alexandru Zama recorded his first assist of the season with his set-up cross to Garrogerricaechebarria.
  • The team had six shots on goal compared to Lafayette's four, and both teams had three saves each.
  • Beasley made it three goals in three games with his brace.
  • Goalkeeper Randy Burkhardt recorded his first win in a La Salle uniform.
 SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
  • Davidson comes off a 2-0 win to Saint Joseph's Navy last Saturday afternoon, and sports a season record of 2-2-4 (1-0-0 conference record).
  • Denis Krioutchenkov set up both goals, with the goals scored by Nick Quanbeck and Alonzo Clarke.
  • Krioutchenkov leads the team in both goals (2) and assists (3).
  • Goalkeeper Lucas Beltran has played and started in seven of the team's eight games, making 22 stops so far.
