Dayton, OH — La Salle women's soccer lost to Dayton in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament Friday night, losing by a score of 3–1 to Dayton at Baujan Field. The Explorers finished the season with a 7–8–3 overall record and a 4–4–2 mark in Atlantic 10 play.

La Salle struck first in the 14th minute when senior forward Justyce Hollenbach converted a penalty kick to give the Explorers an early 1–0 advantage. The goal marked Hollenbach's sixth of the season, taking advantage of a foul from the goalie on freshman forward Kayden Williams.

Dayton answered in the 35th minute as Liv Grenda netted the equalizer off an assist from Laney Smith, sending the teams into halftime tied at one. The Flyers carried their momentum into the second half, taking the lead on Olivia Baca's finish in the 68th minute before Smith added an insurance goal ten minutes later to make it 3–1.

Senior goalkeeper Mackenna Yaracs made six saves in net for La Salle, including several key stops to keep the Explorers within reach. Hollenbach paced the attack with two shots, while junior defender Rylee Henson also added a pair of attempts.

With the loss, the season has concluded for the program.
