Quinn Delivers Again
Joan Quinn delivered her second straight 20-point performance on Wednesday at St. Bonaventure. Two weeks ago, Quinn earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors after leading the Explorers in points against Massachusetts and George Mason. She continued her strong play against Duquesne last week, picking up a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double, before scoring a career-high 23 points, the most by an Explorer this season, against St. Joe's.
Quinn is averaging 17 points per game in her last five games and has increased her average by over two points per game in that span.
Crashing The Boards
La Salle outrebounded St. Bonaventure 38-29 and has had two players with 10 or more rebounds in two of the last three games.
Against Duquesne, Graduate student
Mackenzie Daleba (11 points, 18 rebounds), and freshman
Joan Quinn (13 points, 12 rebounds) became the first pair of Explorers to record a double-double in a game since Shaquana Edwards and Amy Griffin against Massachusetts in 2018. Daleba became the first Explorer with more than 15 rebounds since Kayla Spruill in 2021 against Coppin State.
The Explorers rank 67th in the country with 13.3 offensive rebounds per game, good for sixth in the Atlantic 10.
The Series
In the first meeting between the two teams, La Salle outscored Massachusetts in the second half, but it wasn't enough, as the Explorers fell 82-66 in Amherst.

In the second meeting of the season, the Blue and Gold outscored UMass 25-14 in the fourth quarter to earn a 63-61 comeback victory. In the Atlantic 10 tournament, UMass prevailed by a score of 49-54.
