Fairfax, VA – The La Salle women's lacrosse team fell to George Mason in its final road game of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter was a tale of two halves. George Mason scored four goals in the first eight minutes, followed by the Explorers coming back to tie with one second left.
- Junior midfielder Sam Klein scored three goals in the first quarter, including the equalizer with one second left in the first. Senior attacked Katie Johnson notched the other tally for La Salle.
- The hosts scored all of the goals in the second quarter to enter halftime with the lead.
- Sophomore attacker Kate Licciardi got the Blue and Gold back on the board 8:23 into the third quarter.
- After a George Mason goal, junior attacker Molly Maloney scored to make it 10-6.
- The hosts got one more in the final seconds of the third quarter.
- In the fourth, redshirt junior attacker Alana Lathan and junior attacker Emi Waldron each notched a goal to keep it within five.
- George Mason scored the final goals of the game to seal the result.
GAME NOTES:
- La Salle was successful in its all clear attempts, going 12/12.
- Maloney recorded her fourth game this season with at least one goal and one assist.
- Klein's three goals today were the most she has scored in one game in her collegiate career.
