PHILADELPHIA – Women's water polo senior
Francesca Co' has been named to the Philly-SIDA 2024-25 Academic All-Area Women's At-Large All-Academic Team. The Academic All-Area team is voted on by the sports information offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. She is the first La Salle women's polo student-athlete in program history to earn the honor.
Co' is among the most decorated student-athletes in recent Explorer history, and arguably the most accomplished in water polo program history. She has earned first-team All-Conference honors in the MAAC three times. The attacker led the team with 82 goals, she also added 31 assists, while leading the team in steals (37) and blocks (24). The senior is the program leader in goals, points, and steals. She earned a 3.9 GPA this semester in nursing.
