Philadelphia, PA – Four members of the La Salle men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honors.
Felix Jedbratt earned First Team honors, adding to his historic season. Jedbratt won the Atlantic-10 50-yard free and the 100-yard fly, setting conference championship records in each of those events. His times in the 50-yard free, 100-yard free, and 100-yard fly qualified him to swim in the NCAA National Championships in those three events, becoming the first La Salle swimmer to swim in the NCAA Championship meet since 1992. In the 100-yard fly, Jedbratt placed 18th overall with a time of 45.02. He also earned Philly SIDA Academic All-Area honors as an Economics major.
Divers
Kelsie Waddington,
Tiffany Brawn, and
Lucas Dekaney all earned Second Team Scholar All-America honors.
Waddington, a Marketing major, had eight top-three finishes on the 1-meter board and three top-three finishes on the 3-meter board throughout the season. Brawn, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major, placed fourth in the 3-meter event at the Atlantic 10 Championship while winning five individual events throughout the regular season. Dekaney, a Political Science major, placed fourth in the 1-meter competition at the Atlantic 10 Championships in the spring after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events in five meets this seasons.
The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) named over 2,700 swimmers and divers to its Scholar All-American Team for the 2024-25 season.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
Nearly half of all recognized student-athletes—48 percent—majored in a STEM-related field. Business Administration was the most popular individual major, selected by 5.6 percent of student-athletes.
