PHILADELPHIA - La Salle head swimming and diving coach
Kerry Smith announced the Explorers' 2025-26 schedule Wednesday morning. The slate consists of 12 meets, with La Salle hosting three at Kirk Pool. Admission to home meets is free to all fans.
The Explorers will open the season on the road against Towson on September 27. After a three-week break, La Salle will host its home opener on October 18 at 11 am. November will be all road meets for the teams, who will head to Villanova on 11/8, then head off to the Queens Fall Frenzy and the WVU Diving Invite, both of which will occur from 11/20-23. The Blue & Gold will host its next meet on 12/6 in a tri-meet with Rhode Island and UMass, its last meet before the winter break.
La Salle's first meet of the 2026 calendar year is a road meet against Bucknell on 1/17, then the teams will compete in two separate meets the next week. The men will compete at Penn on 1/22, while the women travel to New Jersey to play Rutgers on 1/23. The teams reunite on 1/24 at Kirk Pool to swim against Fordham, which be the Senior Day meet for both squads. The regular season ends the following week on 1/31 on the road against Monmouth. Â
This year's Atlantic 10 Tournament is set for February 18-21, in Hampton, VA, and the season concludes from March 25-28 at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, GA.
