Men's and Women's Soccer Begin A10 Play This Weekend

This Week In La Salle Athletics: Seven Teams In Action, Men's & Women's Soccer Open A10 Play With Saturday Home Doubleheaeder

Here is a look of the action to come this week for La Salle Athletics, brought to you by Hershey's Ice Cream.

Men's Soccer

The men's soccer team will host two games this week, playing Monmouth Tuesday and Saint Joseph's on Saturday. Both games will start at 7 pm and will stream on ESPN+.

Last week, the team won 2-0 against NJIT Tuesday, followed by a 2-2 draw against Drexel Saturday. Kyrese Lynch-Bailey scored in Tuesday's win and assisted the equalizer in Saturday's game.

Women's Soccer

The women's soccer team hosts Dayton at McCarthy Stadium this Saturday at 1 pm for its first conference game of the season and will stream on ESPN+.

On Monday, Anna Corsanico was awarded A-10 Rookie of the Week for this past week. Corsanico recorded two assists and a goal in the last two games, assisting the game-winner in the team's 3-0 win against Drexel last Wednesday.

Field Hockey

The Explorers will travel to North Carolina for games against Queens and A10 foe Davidson.

After her second 18-save game of the season last week against Cornell, junior goalkeeper Abby Boggs ranks in the top five in the nation in saves per game.

Cross Country

The Explorers cross country teams will return to competing this Friday in Haverford, PA at the Main Line Invite. The meet will start at 5:30 pm.

In its last meet, the men's team finished in third place at the Temple Owl Invite, while the women finished in fourth place.

Rugby

The Explorers travel to Annapolis, MD, to take on Navy in their first-ever road match Saturday. Start time is TBA.

Triathlon

The Explorers head to Western Pennsylvania for their second race of the season, competing at the Beaver County Collegiate Cup on Saturday.
