BEAVER FALLS, PA – The La Salle Women's Triathlon team placed in the top-half of schools competing – sixth out of 13 – in the Beaver County Collegiate Cup hosted by Duquesne University Saturday morning, posting a score of 134.
Graduate Student Fiona Davoudi finished seventh-overall (first in team scoring) among a 93-athlete field at Brady's Run Park. Davoudi, who has posted her second-consecutive top-10 race finish, clocked a 1:04:48.6 total time with an average pace of 4:13. The San Jose, California, native tied with four other athletes to post the second-quickest bike pace in the competing field (23.8 mph).

Sophie Brandwene finished in second place for team scoring and 27
th overall with a 1:10:03:01 clock time.

Gabriela Herbreder posted the second-best swim time of the race (10:46) en-route to a third place team finish and 49
th overall.
La Salle saw four-total athletes post sub-5:00 average pace times: Davoudi (4:13), Brandwene (4:33), Herbreder (4:53), and freshman
Sofia Nordbeck (4:57).

La Salle returns to action next weekend, when the Explorers travel south to Virginia to compete in the Robious Landing Collegiate Cup.
