Philadelphia, PA – With fall practice in full swing, the La Salle baseball program is hosting its alumni game this Saturday, September 27, at Hank DeVincent Field.

The program, which the university reinstated in early 2024 and will compete this spring for the first time since 2021, will welcome back many former players in an alumni vs. alumni game format.
Head Coach David Miller's La Salle team has been practicing within the NCAA-allotted fall baseball practice period since the beginning of the fall semester.
"The energy in this program has been tremendous since we got back to campus earlier this month," Miller said. "These young men are on a mission and have brought into the special opportunity in front of them to reinstate a proud program. We can't wait to link the past generations of this program with our current student-athletes and help strengthen the foundation of La Salle baseball."
Miller was hired to return to his post as La Salle's skipper and looks to pick up right where he and the Explorers left off in 2021, when he was named Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year after the team set a school record 32 wins.
