EMMITSBURG, Md. – The La Salle men's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw on Friday evening against Mount St. Mary's at Waldron Family Stadium.

After a scoreless opening half in which La Salle outshot The Mount, 7-2. The Mountaineers struck first in the 74th minute when Luciano Schiaffini finished off a feed from Abou Cherif to put the hosts ahead. The Explorers responded less than eight minutes later as Lucas Kelley netted his second goal of the season, assisted by Drew Blackwell, to level the match.

Mount St. Mary's quickly regained the lead in the 85th minute on a goal, but La Salle refused to go away. The visitors finding an equalizer in the 90th minute as Alexandru Zama scored his first goal of the season off a setup from Itzak Sandoval to secure the result..

The Explorers will close out this four game road stretch with NJIT Tuesday at 7 p.m.
