Men's Rowing Unveils Upcoming Spring Schedule

Philadelphia, PA – On Friday, La Salle University men's rowing head coach Ivo Krakic officially released the team's Spring 2026 schedule. The Explorers are slated to compete in six events across four different states, all culminating with the IRA National Championship at Lake Natoma in California in late May.

The Explorers will open the spring slate with a scrimmage against Navy at the Christina River in Middletown, Delaware on Saturday, March 21. Last season, the Midshipmen placed 12th at the IRA National Championship, finishing three spots ahead of La Salle in the final standings.

La Salle will then compete in a quad race against Georgetown and Temple at Lake Carnegie, hosted by Princeton on Saturday, March 28. All three opponents are familiar postseason competitors, having also raced alongside the Explorers at last season's IRA National Championship.

In April, the Explorers will remain close to home, competing in the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River on Saturday, April 11, before returning to the Schuylkill River for the Bergen Cup two weekends later on April 25.

As a final qualifier for the IRA National Championship, La Salle will return to the Cooper River to compete in the Dad Vail Regatta on May 8–9, before potentially traveling west to Lake Natoma in Sacramento, California, for the IRA National Championship from May 29–June 1.
