Philadelphia, PA - On Saturday, the La Salle men's and women's rowing teams each competed in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta, with the men's team medaling four times. The event would mark the home opener as the Navy Day Regatta was canceled due to weather a couple weeks prior.

The teams entered a combined 12 boats into competition, a combination of 8+, 4+, and 2-. The women's efforts were highlighted by their Championship 8+ entry and their Frosh 8+ entry, each of which placed in the top third of their respective races with times of 12:56.910 and 14:08.550. The men's Championship 2-, Championship 4+, Frosh 8+, and Championship 8+ each medaled in their respective events, with the 4+ taking down 38 competitors in the process. Their respective times are as follows: 13:27.239, 12:34.991, 11:34.658, 10:54.897.

Each of the teams will wrap up their fall seasons next week at the Princeton Chase.
