Pennsauken, NJ - On Friday and Saturday, the La Salle men's and women's rowing teams each competed at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta at the Cooper River in New Jersey, one of the largest regattas of the season. Each team entered four boats, with the men's team entering three Varsity Eights and a Second Varsity Four, while the women's team entered a Two Varsity Eights a Frosh/Novice Eight, and a Varsity Four.

Five out of the eight Explorer boats qualified for their respective finals on Saturday, with the Women's Frosh 8+ taking silver with a time of 7:56.530, and each of the Men's Varsity Eights taking bronze in their respective finals with times of 5:42.53, 5:56.19, and 6:05.55.

The women will conclude their season next weekend at the Atlantic 10 Championship, once again at the Cooper River on May 16.

With the Men's First Varsity Eight placing third, all three Men's Varsity Eights clinched spots at the 2026 IRA National Championship in Sacramento, CA May 29-31.
