BETHLEHEM, PA – The La Salle women's lacrosse team (3-4) fell 16-6 in a non-conference road game against Lehigh on Saturday afternoon. 

Senior attacker Emi Waldron led the offensive effort for the Explorers, recording a hat trick with three goals to increase her season total to 23.

Junior midfielder Mia Riccitelli also had a productive afternoon, finishing with three points from two goals and one assist.

Sophomore midfielder Auria Mullins added a goal and paced the team with four ground balls.

Lehigh established control early, jumping out to a 5-1 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Mountain Hawks extended their advantage with a dominant second quarter, holding the Explorers scoreless while adding four more goals to take a 9-1 lead into halftime.

Waldron netted two of her goals in the third quarter during extra-player opportunities to spark the offense in the second half. 

The Explorers return home to McCarthy Stadium to open Atlantic 10 conference play on Senior Day against George Mason. The game is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at noon.
