Philadelphia, PA - On Monday, March 23, the La Salle women's basketball team will compete in a postseason tournament for the first time since the 1991-92 season as the team hosts Binghamton at John E. Glaser Arena at 6:00 PM in a WNIT second round matchup.

While the Explorers were awarded a first-round bye, Binghamton defeated Mercyhurst on Thursday to clinch a trip to the second round. The winner of Monday's game will move on to face NJIT or Army later next week.
Binghamton, the third-seeded team from the America East lost to second-seeded Maine in their conference semifinals. The two teams last played in 2013-14, when the Bearcats took a 57-56 victory at the Blue Sky Classic hosted by Dartmouth.
