PHILADELPHIA, PA – The La Salle men's basketball team (9-21, 5-12 A-10) snapped a four-game losing streak with a dramatic 87-84 win over Fordham (16-14, 7-10 A-10) on William "Speedy" Morris Day at John E. Glaser Arena, highlighted by a special halftime celebration honoring the former legendary head coach of the Explorers.
Redshirt sophomore Rob Dockery led the Explorers with 25 points, including 11-for-12 from the free throw line and a career-best two blocks, capping his night with game-sealing free throws in the final seconds.
Freshman guard Ashton Walker contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while graduate student guard Truth Harris added 15 points, hitting three shots from beyond the arc.
With the game hanging in the balance, Dockery drove to the line and knocked down two clutch free throws with 11 seconds remaining to push La Salle ahead by three. Fordham's attempt to tie at the buzzer missed, allowing the Explorers to secure an emotional win in their home finale.
La Salle opened the game with energy, building an early 17-point lead and carrying a 46-37 advantage into halftime as a lively Senior Day crowd and Speedy Morris Day festivities fueled the team.
Fordham responded with a surge in the second half, closing the gap and keeping the pressure high. The Rams outscored the Explorers 47-41 after the break, setting up a tense final minute.

Prior to the game, the Explorers celebrated Senior Day, honoring the 2026 senior class.
