Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle women's water polo team placed 21 student-athletes on the 2026 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic Team and the 2026 Metro Conference Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday morning.
The ACWPC splits its selections into three categories: outstanding (3.71-4.0 GPA), superior (3.41-3.70 GPA), and excellent (3.20-3.40 GPA).
Nadya Azzopardi, Martina Bonet Saez, Piper Brostrom, Michaela Burroughs, Katelyn Cuthbert, Claire Durham, Paige Mitchell, Summer Mo, Sara Quirante Taali, Grace Smith, and Whitney Wood each earned outstanding honors.
Kíra Braun, Claire McCulloch, Andi Moriarity, and Sam Richardson earned superior honors while Lauren Ellis, Amanda Fadil, Allie Hollo, Lily Kirby, Avery Rabago, and Ella Tice earned excellent honors.
To qualify for the Metro Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20. Freshmen and transfers who were not eligible for the Metro All-Academic Team were eligible for the Academic Honor Roll.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rebranded to the Metro Conference on July 1, 2026.
During the 2026 season, La Salle posted a 3.67 team GPA for the spring semester. Azzopardi, Durham, Mitchell, Quirante Taali, and Wood each posted a 4.0 GPA.
