Philadelphia, PA – La Salle triathlon head coach Sage Maaranen announced the team's 2026 schedule on Thursday morning.

After competing at five races during their inaugural season in 2025, the Explorers' 2026 schedule will also feature five races, starting with the season opener on Sunday, Aug. 30 at the Duquesne Collegiate Cup in Beaver Falls, PA.

La Salle will then return to Beaver Falls a few weeks later for the Beaver County Collegiate Cup on Sept. 19.

The Explorers' October schedule features two events. La Salle will travel to Annapolis, MD for the Navy Collegiate Cup on Oct. 4 and head to Lake Lanier, GA for the NCAA East Regionals on Oct. 17.

The NCAA Championship will be held on Sunday, Nov 8 in Tempe, AZ.

Welcoming seven new student-athletes to the roster is an exciting milestone and a testament to the culture, commitment, and vision of this program. We look forward to a full and rigorous season that will highlight individual peaks and challenge us to perform as a unit. Every race is another opportunity to learn, compete, and represent our university with pride."
