Beaver Falls, PA – La Salle finished their first meet of the season, coming in 5th at the Duquesne Collegiate Cup this Sunday.
All twelve Explorers raced with forty-seven athletes from six programs competing.
Freshman Dylan Volk finished with a run time of 21:35.70 and a swim pace of 1:15. This was La Salle's fastest finisher of the day, coming in 19th place with a time of 1:04:50.56.
Fellow freshman Vic Medina finished 25th, second for the Explorers, with a time of 1:07:58.94.
Captain graduate student Gabriela Herbreder finished 39th overall with a La Salle best 1:14 swim pace for a time of 10:06.95.
The Explorers will compete in their second race of the season on September 19th at the Beaver County Collegiate Cup in Beaver Falls.
