Beaver Falls, PA – Triathlon finished seventh out of thirteen teams at the Beaver County Collegiate Cup on Saturday at Brady's Run Park. 

Freshman Vic Medina Quintero led the Explorers, placing ninth overall in 1:04:43.84. Medina posted a 10:15 swim, a 31:33 bike at 22.5 mph and a 20:47 run. 

Freshman Dylan Volk was the team's second finisher, placing 24th in 1:06:08.03. Volk recorded a 9:39 swim and a 32:07 bike at 22.1 mph. Freshman Riley Perry took 45th in 1:09:57.64, followed by Graduate Student Gabriela Herbreder in 68th (1:15:28.76) and Sophomore Luciana Ruiz Serrano in 69th (1:15:47.87) to complete La Salle's scoring five. Herbreder's 9:32 swim was the fastest on the team. 

Freshman Candace Socito (70th, 1:15:50.67) and Freshman Annabelle Suffield (71st, 1:16:08.06) finished within 40 seconds of Herbreder and Ruiz Serrano. Freshman Joshelle Cabriana placed 75th (1:19:11.57) and Sophomore Averi Duncan 91st (1:26:51.91). 

The Explorers return to action Sunday, October 4th at the Navy Collegiate Cup in Annapolis, Maryland.
