Women's Soccer Earns 2-0 Road Win Over Lehigh

Bethlehem, PA –  Freshman forward Shiloh Moore scored her first career goal, and junior midfielder Ella Cadigan scored her first goal of the season as the La Salle women's soccer team earned a 2-0 road win at Lehigh on Thursday night.

With the victory, the Explorers improved to 3-3-2 in 2026, while the Mountain Hawks remained winless, dropping to 0-5-1.

After both teams had a couple of scoring chances in the opening half, Moore put La Salle on the board in the 36th minute, placing a shot in the lower left corner past Lehigh's goalkeeper Chloe Zipprich.

Cadigan added a goal in the 65th minute to become La Salle's eighth different goal scorer in as many games this season.

Halah Lebsack set up Cadigan's goal with a cross that took a deflection off of a Lehigh defender, allowing Cadigan to tap in from three yards out.

Cadigan has recorded at least one point in her last three matches, including the new program single-game record of four assists in the 7-4 win against Howard last Sunday.

Entering tonight's game, Cadigan ranks tied for first in the NCAA with seven assists during the 2026 campaign.

Junior goalkeeper Samantha Widnick made four saves to earn her third win of the season, highlighted by a leaping save in the 14th minute to deny Paige Place's attempt and a diving save in the 52nd minute to deny Summer Hill's long-range strike.

Both teams recorded 10 shot attempts, while La Salle had a 7-4 edge in shots on target.

The Explorers will return to Philadelphia for the Atlantic 10 opener against Davidson (3-2-1) on Saturday, Sept. 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
