2020: Played in eight games and made five starts as a sophomore during shortened season… Tallied five RBI and scored three runs… Put forth a perfect fielding percentage in the outfield… Helped Explorers to first win of season behind 2-for-5 day with an RBI double and a run scored (2/15)… Hit an RBI single and scored a run vs. Sacred Heart (2/29)… Went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in win at Rider (3/10).

2019: Baseball America Atlantic 10 Preseason Freshman of the Year… Started in 47 of the 48 games he appeared in as a freshman outfielder… Ninth in A-10 with three triples… Third on team with six stolen bases… Totaled 32 runs, 22 RBIs, seven doubles and three home runs… Also made one relief appearance on the mound… Made La Salle debut in start at Charleston Southern, scoring a run in season-opening win (2/15)… Notched first hit the next day at Charleston Southern (2/16)… Concluded opening series by going 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBIs, a double and his first career homer in a win over CSU (2/17)… Was 3-for-4 with a run against Rider (2/24)… Went 5-for-11 with five runs, three walks and two stolen bases over three games against Albany… Started series with an RBI double and a run in win over Albany (3/2)… Was perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two walks and a run in win over Saint Peter’s (3/12)… Recorded two RBI singles in win at Delaware (3/19)… Reached base four times with a double and a triple while scoring three runs in win over Fairleigh Dickinson, adding one inning of relief on the mound (3/20)… Drove in a pair and went 2-for-4 in series opener at Davidson (3/22)… Belted a two-run homer in first at-bat of series finale at Davidson (3/24)… Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run in first game at St. Bonaventure and added a two-run double in second game (3/29)… Was 2-for-5 with a double and a run in A-10 win over St. Bona (3/30)… Went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI against VCU (4/6)… Doubled and went 2-for-4 in win over Eastern Shore (4/10)… Went 3-for-4 in win over LIU Brooklyn (5/1)… Homered and went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs in win over Rhode Island (5/16).

Background: Leadoff hitter and pitcher at Bishop Shanahan High School… Was a Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Honorable Mention All-American… Perfect Game Mid-Atlantic High School Dream Team three years in a row… Ranked inside Perfect Game’s top 250 prospects for 2018… Two-time Chestmont Player of the Year… Two-time All-Southeastern PA First Team… Hit .425 at the plate as a junior… Threw a no hitter against Rustin… Batted .375 as a sophomore and .300 as a freshman… Team made districts all four years.
 
Personal: Parents are Ryan and Laura… Brother, Riley O’Day, was also Chestmont Player of the Year for Bishop Shanahan during Nick’s freshman season… Major is Business Administration.
