Biography

2008 - Named to the All-Philadelphia Big 5 Team at third base after batting 88 points higher than his career average...Started 43 of 44 games - 41 at third...In each start, batted in the second hole...Finished the season 123rd in the nation in Toughest to Strike Out (11.4)...Had 17 multi-hit games, which included three games with three hits - at Elon (2/23-G2), versus Rhode Island (4/26) with two doubles, versus George Washington (5/10-G1) with three runs scored, and a career-high four-hit game against Saint Joseph's (5/17-G1), with a career-high four runs scored and a home run...Hit first collegiate home run at Villanova (4/1) and hit another at Duquesne (4/11)...In seven games drove in two runs...Had a pair of hitting streaks 10 games or longer...The first one, an 11-gamer, was from March 29 through April 16, batted .422 with eight multi-hit games...The other, a 10-gamer to end the season May 4-17, batted .467 with 11 runs and 12 RBI...Finished second on the team in average (.322) and on-base percentage (.412)...Had 98 assists and started 11 double plays.

2007 - Started 47 of 48 games played - 44 at third base...Was 11th in the nation in Hit By Pitch (0.44)...Had six mutli-hit games, four of which were three-hit games - versus Ball State (2/17-G1) with two runs scored, versus Dayton (5/5), at Xavier (5/12) and at Saint Peter's (5/15) also with a pair of runs scored...Had three multi-RBI games - versus Philadelphia (3/21), versus Saint Louis (4/7-G2), and versus Dayton (5/4)...Was second on the team in on-base percentage (.392) as he also drew a team-high 19 walks to go with a team-high 21 hit by pitches...Had 105 assists and helped turn 13 double plays.

2006 - Started all but one game (50-of-51), 45 of those at shortstop...Had 10 multi-hit games, seven multi-run scoring games, and four multi-RBI games...Registered first three-hit game with a 3-for-5 effort in second game at Campbell (3/6), scoring two runs with first extra base hit - a double...Hit a three-run triple versus Central Connecticut State (3/10)...Went 3-for-4 with three runs scored versus Temple (5/19)...Was 4-for-7 on stolen base attempts...Led the team with 144 assists.

High School - A two-time (2004, 05) Coaches All-Gazette Honorable mention and All-Conference selection...Captained team to the 2005 Maryland State 4A Championships.
