Biography

2009: With his 70 hits (tied for the 10th most in a single season at La Salle), became just the second Explorer ever to reach 200 hits before senior year and tied Barry Petrachenko (1985-88) with 201 after three seasons...Named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Team and earned Atlantic 10 Conference Honorable Mention...Led the team with a .329 average, 19 doubles, which were the second-most in a single season at the school and tied for third in the A-10, and 113 total bases, fourth all-time in a season and 13th in the conference...Second on the team with 36 runs, eight home runs, and 11 stolen bases...Struck out just 22 times in 213 at-bats, which was tied for 225th in the nation in Toughest to Strike Out (once every 9.7 at-bats)...Was also 66th in country in doubles per game (0.39) and 109 in Doubles...Entering 2010 season, sits fourth all-time in doubles (45), seventh in hits (201), and 10th in at-bats (618) and total bases (299)...Reached base in all but two games the entire year and hit safely 40-of-48 games and 24-of-26 A-10 games, including the last 16...Started 48 games, all in centerfield...Had 135 putouts and two outfield assists, committing just three errors...Tied for the team-lead with 19 multi-hit games and had 10 multi-RBI contests and nine times scored at least two runs...Recorded eight games with at least three hits, including two four-hit games...Started the year with a 4-for-5 effort with two RBI in La Salle[apos]s season-opening 5-2 win at Duke (2/20), with a double and home run...Had other four-hit game at George Washington (4/18)...Three-hit games include at Morehead State (2/28-G1), versus Cornell (3/7), with a home run, at Saint Peter[apos]s (3/24), versus Delaware State (3/25), with three RBI, at Charlotte (5/3), and versus Richmond (5/13), with a home run...Had one other three RBI game, at Maryland (4/21), with a home run...Other games with round trippers include at Morehead State (2/28-G2), versus Saint Peter[apos]s (3/14), versus Xavier (4/5), and at Dayton (5/11).

2008: Became just the third Explorer to register back-to-back 60-plus hit seasons to start a career...His 131 hits was the third-most for any Explorer after their sophomore season...Reached base safely in the first 31 games and in 43 games total...Made 48 starts, all in centerfield...Had 137 putouts and three outfield assists and committed just one error...Led the team with 23 multi-hit games, also had six multi-RBI games, and 11 games with at least two runs scored...Had four games with three hits, including at Elon (2/24) with a home run and two runs scored, at Cal State Northridge (2/29) with three runs, at Duquesne (4/11) with three RBI, three runs, and a home run, and versus Fordham (4/19)...Had another three-RBI effort against Rhode Island (4/25)...Also hit home runs at Elon (2/23-G1), at Delaware State (3/18) adding a career-high four runs, versus Rhode Island (4/26), and at St. Bonaventure (5/4-G1)...Led the team with a 12-game hitting streak, while also adding a seven gamer...Was second on the team in runs (41), hits (62), home runs (6), total bases (93), slugging percentage (.479), on-base percentage (.389), and stolen bases (11).

2007: Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American Team, the All Ping! Freshmen Team, the A-10 All-Rookie Team, and the Philadelphia Big Five Team...Was a four-time A-10 Rookie of the Week (2/19, 3/12, 4/16, 5/21)...Started his career with a 24-game hitting streak and hit safely in 37 of first 38 collegiate games...The hitting streak is a school record, an A-10 freshman record, was the second longest in A-10 history (25, Mike Burton, Temple, 1989), was the second longest in the NCAA among freshmen in 2007 (28, Dustin Ackley, North Carolina), and - across all classes - was the longest to start the season...Started 47 of 48 games in centerfield and was the team[apos]s lead-off hitter...Reached base in all but five games and had a hit in all but six games...Ended the season with five straight hits...Had 18 multi-hit games including a season-best 5-for-5 at Saint Joseph[apos]s (4/13)...Had one four-hit game versus Duquesne (3/25), and four three-hit games...Had six multi-RBI games and, in four games, scored at least two runs...Also set Explorer freshmen records for hits in a season (9th overall at school in a single season), doubles (third overall), and finished 83rd in the nation in doubles per game (0.35)...Led outfielders with 124 putouts and had three outfield assists...Hit first collegiate home run at Saint Peter[apos]s (5/15).

High School: Named First Team All-Catholic, All-Bucks County, All-City and All-South Eastern PA as a senior...Also captained his team.
