Biography
2016: Played in 17 games (15 starts) on the backline as a fifth-year senior… Tallied a pair of assists on the season, against Villanova (9/15) and Saint Joseph’s (10/9)…Played all 90 minutes in shutout wins over Temple (8/28) and George Mason (10/27)…Played all 106 minutes of a double overtime 1-0 win over Massachusetts (9/29)…Played 110 minutes in double OT shutouts at Davidson (10/2) and Saint Louis (10/23).
2015: Appeared in 14 games with 13 starts on the backline... Helped La Salle post three shutouts despite missing the first few weeks of the season due to injury…Recorded an assist in a 2-0 shutout against Richmond (10/22).
2014: Appeared in 17 games (13 starts) as a redshirt sophomore, helping La Salle limit A-10 opponents to only three goals as the Explorers went 8-0 in league play…Assisted two goals in a 3-0 win over George Washington (10/4), including her first career assist on a Kelsey Haycook goal in the 4th minute…Had three shots on the season.
2013: Utilized a redshirt during the 2013 season.
2012: Appeared in 13 of the Explorers' 23 games recording four starts. Attempted a total of six shots on goal including a season high of two against Princeton (10/22). Played a seaon high 86 minutes against Virginia (11/9).
High School: Filippo has high-level experience and was a starter on the Philadelphia Independence of the WPSL in 2010. She was a PA State AAA Finalist as Archbishop Wood was ranked No. 3 in the nation according to ESPN. A three-time All Catholic League pick, she helped her team to three straight Catholic League and PIAA District 12 Championships from 2009-11
