2020: La Salle Athletics Male Rising Star Award winner… Philadelphia Baseball Review Player of the Week (2/24)… Led team in numerous offensive categories as a sophomore during shortened season… Started in the heart of the lineup in all 14 games… Team leader with .321 batting average… Also led team in RBI (13), hits (17), doubles (6), total bases (26), slugging (.491), OPS (.900), and walks (10)… Ranked in the top-10 in the Atlantic 10 Conference in doubles and walks… Spent majority of season behind the plate defensively… Catcher had a .981 fielding percentage and threw out four runners stealing… Ended season on six-game hit streak… Had five multi-hit games… Drove in two runs at Furman (2/16)… Best game came against Hofstra, going 4-for-6 with four RBI, two doubles and run scored in the second game of a doubleheader (2/22)… Launched first home run of season vs. Brown while going 2-for-4 with two runs (3/1)… Drove in three runs and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run at Delaware State (3/4)… Scored three runs and was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk in win at Rider (3/10).
2019: Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American… Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year… Philadelphia Big 5 Rookie of the Year… All-Big 5 Catcher… Back-to-back A-10 Rookie of the Week (4/22, 4/29)… Big 5 Player of the Week (4/29)… Started in 49 of the 52 games he played in, splitting time at catcher and designated hitter… Finished the season ranked in the top 10 in single season program history in doubles (17), RBI (50) and home runs (9)… Fifth in A-10 in doubles and SLG% (.556)… Sixth in A-10 in RBI… Seventh in A-10 in homers… Eighth in A-10 with 10 runners caught stealing… 12th in A-10 with .321 batting average… In conference play, led A-10 with 13 doubles… Led team with .941 OPS… Had a .385 OBP, 60 hits and scored 35 runs… Made La Salle debut and first start at Charleston Southern (2/15)… Helped Explorers knock off RV New Mexico State by going 2-for-4 with first career homer, three RBIs and two runs (3/8)… Scored twice and was 2-for-5 in win over Villanova (3/16)… Broke through with five RBIs, five runs, a homer and a double while reaching base five times in win over Fairleigh Dickinson (3/20)… Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs against Rider (3/26)… Had a historic game in win at Lehigh, hitting three home runs with five RBIs and four runs (4/2)… Was 5-for-13 in three games against VCU (4/5-7)… Had a pair of RBI singles in win over Eastern Shore (4/10)… Smacked a grand slam and drove in five runs in win over Quinnipiac (4/13)… Homered twice and had five RBIs, two runs and a double against Saint Joe’s (4/18)… Was perfect 4-for-4 with four RBIs, three runs and two doubles in win over Saint Peter’s (4/23)… Also went perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs in win over UMass (4/27)… Hit a solo homer at Fordham (5/10).
Background: Starred on baseball and swimming teams at Notre Dame High School… 2018 All-Mercer County, All-Area, Second Team All-Non-Public A… Selected to New Jersey State All-Star team-Central… Selected to 2018 Carpenter Cup team-Mercer County… ND High School Baseball MVP, Athletic Director's Award, Male Athlete… Had .461 average, 15 extra-base hits and 31 RBIs as a senior… 2017 All-Mercer County and All-Area… Selected to 2017 Carpenter Cup team-Mercer County… As a junior, hit .330 with 10 extra-base hits and 21 RBIs… Helped team to first state finals appearance in over 25 years… ACBL All-Star team member and selected as MVP-position player for ACBL with club team… Three-time all-county and all-state selection for swimming.
Personal: Son of Tom and Lisa… Father, Tom, rowed for one year at Temple University and is a La Salle alum… Sister Jacqueline is also a standout soccer player... Major is Business.
