- Represented his country on the international stage, suiting up for the Kazakhstan U-16 national team.
- Moved to the United States for high school, where he spent a season with the prestigious Montverde Academy.
- While attending the school, he practiced alongside notable players such as Cooper Flagg, Liam McNeeley, and Derik Queen. After Montverde, he moved to another institution with a high-caliber basketball program
- Prolific Prep, which counts current Philadelphia 76er Adam Bona among its recent alumni. Masharaliyev concluded his prep career at Napa Christian (Ca).
