John Ball, a former manager at Penn State who spent one season as an assistant at West Chester, is in his second season as the video coordinator for the La Salle men's basketball program.
While at West Chester, Ball was responsible for the distribution and acquisition of game film to prepare scouts and game plans. He helped the Golden Rams to a 13-8 record in the PSAC and a second seed in the PSAC East.
He was a four-year manager at Penn State under head coach Pat Chambers and served as the assistant video coordinator. Ball used XOS Thunder, Synergy and Dragonfly Storm to prepare scout tapes, personnel presentations and player clips for the Nittany Lions.Â
Ball also was a camp counselor at the Penn State Basketball Camp and the Monte Ross Basketball Camp, along with working events for Hoop Group Elite, Nike EYBL Invitational and Elevate Hoops.
The Phoenixville, Pa. native and Bishop Shanahan product graduated from PSU in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history.
