Mike Doyle

Mike Doyle enters the 2025–26 season in his seventh year as a member of the program’s coaching staff and currently serves as an assistant coach.

Over the course of his tenure, Doyle has played an integral role in all facets of the program, including player development, scouting and opponent preparation, recruiting coordination, and game preparation. He is actively involved in the program’s recruiting efforts while working closely with the Explorers’ student-athletes on skill development and preparation. He assists in scouting opponents, video evaluation and breakdowns, and analysis of individual player and team statistics.

Doyle joined the Explorers staff in 2019. He has held multiple roles within the program, gaining experience across both the coaching and operational sides of Division I basketball.  As Director of Basketball Operations, he oversees key operational areas of the program, supervises graduate assistants, conducts day-to-day scheduling, and serves as a liaison to the athletic department's leadership team and business department.

Doyle came to 20th and Olney after a four-year playing career at Cabrini University in Radnor, Pa. A three-time member of the Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, Doyle appeared in 85 games and was part of two NCAA Tournament teams.

As a junior, Doyle helped lead the Cavaliers to a 26–4 record and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Doyle graduated from Cabrini in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education. At Cabrini, he was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as a member of the Honors Court. In 2021, Doyle earned a master’s degree in Education from LaSalle University.
