Biography

"Khalid has put an injury-plagued, difficult season totally behind him. He is doing all the winning things we expect of him, providing great defense, making plays, taking care of the ball and being an efficient shooter. 2014-15 (6.0 ppg./2.0 rpg./2.2 apg.): Appeared in 33 games, starting 18...Averaged career-best 6.0 ppg. and added career-high 2.0 rpg...Second on team in assists (72) and steals (33)...Connected on 21 three-pointers, good for third on the team, and shot .328 from behind the arc...Shot 74-for-198 (.374) from the field...Started first 14 games of the season...Had nine points each versus Colgate (11/15) and Quinnipiac (11/18)...Had season-high with 17 points on 7-for-13 shooting vs. Villanova (12/3)...Scored 12 points vs. Temple (12/6)...Dished seven assists vs. Drexel (12/13)...Had eight points and four assists at Hofstra (12/23)...Scored 10 points at Rhode Island (1/22)...Also reached double-figures with 11 points vs. Richmond (2/5)...Shot 6-for-8 with 13 points in win over Duquesne (2/18)...Had career-high nine assists in A-10 quarterfinal game vs. Davidson (3/13).

2013-14 (3.0 ppg./1.1 rpg./0.9 apg.): Appeared in 28 games off the bench for La Salle...Averaged 3.0 ppg. and 1.1 rpg...Missed first two games of season with hand injury...Had five points in eight minutes vs. Siena in Explorer debut (11/16)...Scored four points at Penn State (11/19) before injuring toe...Missed Morgan State game at Paradise Jam with toe injury (11/22)...Had season-high nine points in 23 minutes vs. Hartford (12/4)...Had six points at Villanova (12/15) and Wagner (12/19)...Netted seven points vs. Rhode Island (1/15)...Hit for season-high 10 points in season-best 28 minutes at UMass (2/5).
