Biography

"Steve’s tremendous work ethic has led to further gains in strength, speed and skill that add to his consistent progress since his freshman year. He will be a dependable rebounder and defender and a highly intelligent offensive player who makes our team efficient. 2014-15 (8.6 ppg./9.2 rpg./1.8 bpg.): Led team and was fourth in the A-10 in rebounding (9.2 rpg.)...Led team and was fifth in the A-10 in blocks (1.8 bpg.)...His 58 blocked shots were sixth most in a season at La Salle...Fourth on the team in scoring (8.6 ppg.)...Was third in A-10 in defensive rebounding (6.5 rpg.)...Had 17 double-figure rebounding games...Second on team in minutes (31.2 mpg.)...One of two Explorers to start all 33 games... High School: A two-time Patriot News All-Big 15 team selection…First team Mid-Penn as a senior after averaging 15.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game…Led team to District finals and elite eight of state tournament…Second-team Mid-Penn Keystone Division all-star as a junior…Helped Red Land (23-5) to the Mid-Penn Keystone Division title…Averaged 13.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as a junior.
