River Baldwin

River Baldwin joined the La Salle women’s basketball staff in July 2025 following a successful collegiate and professional career.

Most recently, Baldwin played in Germany for Syntainics MBC Halle before having her career cut short due to injury.

The Alabama native was the No. 27 player in the class of 2019 ESPN rankings and fifth at her position as well as a 2019 McDonald's All-American. Baldwin played three seasons at Florida State before transferring to NC State for the final two years of her collegiate career.

Baldwin scored 549 points for the Wolfpack and started in all 35 games in her second and final season with the Wolfpack. Baldwin shined in 2023-24, nearly doubling her averages from 2022-23, logging 10.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 27.6 minutes per game with 10.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in ACC play.

She led the team in free throw percentage (75-of-92, .815), rebounding average, offensive rebounds/game (2.3), blocks (44) and field goal percentage (148-of-276, .536), and finished the season with 21 double-digit scoring games, eight double-digit rebounding games, seven double-doubles and seven 3+ block contests.
