Biography

Coach Williams on Tayong: "Oma-ah is a strong athletic post player who really has started to grow as a player and is finding herself as a player. She has the ability to finish with either hand in the post and is a very good shot blocker. She's going to provide tremendous depth for us in the post position."

2011-12: Saw action in 13 games with three starts... Earned first collegiate start in season-opener against Lehigh (11/11)... Scored four points and pulled down season- and career-best five rebounds in her collegiate debut... Recorded season- and career-best five points and two blocked shots in 14 minutes at Duquesne (2/18)... Contributed four rebounds in five minutes of play against Florida (11/25) at the Courtyard LaGuardia Turkey Classic at Long Island.

At Paul Laurence Dunbar High School: Led the Dunbar High School squad to the 2010-11 Maryland 1A State Championship and a No. 4 team ranking by the Baltimore Metro/Baltimore Sun... Baltimore City Senior All-Star... Recorded 18 double-doubles, averaging 14.2 points per game and 12.8 rebounds per game... Posted a career-best 27 points and 29 rebounds... Led Dunbar with 2.4 rejections per game... Led Dunbar to the Maryland 1A North Region Championship and the 1A State Semifinals in 2009-10... Played AAU with the Maryland Shooting Stars.
