Dylan Gesswin

Dylan Gesswin serves as a Sports Performance Coach, specializing in strength and conditioning for the women’s basketball team. He designs and oversees comprehensive training programs that enhance speed, strength, agility, conditioning, and flexibility while working closely with sports medicine and performance nutrition staff to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development.  
With extensive experience in program design, injury prevention, and performance optimization, Gesswin has helped athletes maximize their potential through data-driven training and recovery strategies. Before joining LaSalle, he was a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where he played a key role in improving game-day performance for Division I men’s and women’s basketball. His expertise includes developing individualized training plans, implementing recovery protocols, and collaborating across disciplines to support athlete resilience and longevity.  
Gesswin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and completed significant coursework toward a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, a USA Weightlifting (USAW) Certified Coach, and holds CPR and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association.  
Passionate about advancing the field of sports performance, Gesswin remains committed to evidence-based training, athlete education, and the continual pursuit of innovative strategies to enhance athletic success.
