Jack Silva joined the La Salle Athletics Communications department in January 2025, following a semester as a Graduate Assistant at Wagner College.

At La Salle, Silva serves as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, field hockey, men’s rowing, and men’s golf. Since arriving at 20th and Olney, he has led media coverage for the women’s basketball team’s run to the 2026 WNIT Super 16 and the men’s rowing team’s trips to the 2025 and 2026 IRA National Championships. He also created the first-ever golf record books, compiling historical statistics and designing digital layouts. In addition to his current assignments, Silva has also served as the primary communications contact for baseball, women’s rowing, and women’s golf at La Salle.

While at Wagner, Silva served as the primary communications contact for men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, and bowling, while also playing a key role in coordinating the 2024 Northeast Conference Field Hockey Championship.

Silva earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Georgia in 2024. During his time in Athens, he interned with the Athletics Marketing & Fan Engagement office, worked as a sports research assistant under Dr. Steven Salaga, and was employed by the University of Georgia Golf Course.

A native of Rocklin, California, Silva previously served as an operations and media intern with the nearby Lincoln Potters of the California Collegiate League, where he managed social media accounts, wrote feature stories, conducted interviews, and assisted with game day operations.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the golf course and supporting his favorite teams—the Sacramento Kings and Las Vegas Raiders.
