Emily Fenton joins the La Salle women's soccer staff as a Volunteer Assistant in 2016 after finishing a storied career with the Explorers last season.

Fenton helped La Salle to four NCAA tournaments and a pair of Atlantic 10 tournament championships during her career. The Woodbridge, N.J. native graduated in 2014 with a degree in Chemistry and finished the coursework for an MBA this summer. 


As a player: 
2014
: Started all 22 games as a defensive midfielder for the Explorers…Helped the back line tally seven shutouts and allow a league-best three goals in A-10 play as the Explorers went 8-0 in conference…Recorded five shots on the season… Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013: Saw action in 13 games for the Explorers, starting eight…Recorded a multi-assist game at home vs. Loyola (Md.) (9/15), connecting with teammate Kelsey Haycook for the first two goals of the 4-0 victory…battling injuries throughout the season, Fenton provided a spark for La Salle in the middle of the field…Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012:  Redshirt due to injury.

2011: Had a season-best performance in a 3-0 victory against cross-town rival Saint Joseph’s (10/2/11) netting a goal and assist in that game, the first of her collegiate career… Scored the equalizing goal in a 1-1 tie at conference foe Fordham (10/28/11)… Named to the Fall Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
